Block armor is used to reinforce blocks by reducing damage by 50% on the side of the block.

A concrete block with block armor on one side.
It can be placed on all four vertical sides of a block but cannot be placed on the top or bottom. Armor only protects one side of the block, so if the block is attacked from behind, the armor will be useless. If the block that the armor is place on is destroyed, the armor is also destroyed.
